dc house grooves

while having a dig through the dc house grooves archives i found one of my favorite mixes from years gone by – winter deep. i think i originally did this mix back in 2002 / 2003 when i was living in edinburgh, scotland. there are some great tracks here from the likes of metro area, audio soul project, g-pal and kerri chandler, but i’ve always felt the original version of winter deep was too fast, clocking in at around 130 bpm….so with a little sprinkling of digital magic, here’s a new version of winter deep, dialed back to a pace more appropriate to the material
