It is finally here! This weekend, we’re heading out of town to get spooky at The Get Down Halloween Adventure! A small underground festival just an hour by car from DC, The Get Down features an amazing local line up from a whole bunch of different crews, a haunted house, costume contest, meditation and a whole lot more. Andy Grant, Katrina Mir and Kochi are all on the line up, as well as friends of the family Damon Bradley, Heather Femia, Symmetrical and many more. Best of all, The Get Down is a no-bullshit, non-commercial festival, a proper gathering of heads for the love of the music, with a bit of Halloween fun in the mix. Before I get into the listings for this weekend, major thanks to everyone who came out to Flash last Friday and celebrated Katrina Mir‘s birthday with us! What an incredible night in the Green Room! I don’t think we’ve had a better night a Flash in all the years we’ve been played there. Thanks also to the whole team at Flash, to the management for booking us, and to all the bar and security staff for making sure everything went smoothly. We can’t wait to do it again! For those who couldn’t make it, we recorded the whole night, five hours of pure vibe served up fresh from the wax by me, Andy Grant, Ramirez and Katrina Mir.
